First-top EPE Foam Mattress Making Machinery:

EPE Foam Sheet is a new type of packing material also named as pearl cotton .It is an ideal substitute of traditional packing material for many advantages including dampproof, shockproof, sound insulation, heat preservation and high plasticity. As a new type packing material it is widely used in the packing of electronic product, commodity, glass, ceramic, household apparatus, spraying, furniture, hardware product and toy.

The raw material of EPE foam sheet extrusion line is high pressure polyethylene; it is fed into the extruder with the L/D 55:1 by automatic loading equipment. The talcum powder is fed into the unloading equipment through the Italy double screw. And then enter into screw to plasticize. The anti-shrinking agent is injected into spiral tube by GMS pump to mix with raw materials. The function is to prevent the products shrinking. The liquid butane will be injected into the screw tube through the high pressure butane pump to foam. After cooling by the screw tube, the plasticized blend materials will extrude out from the nose. After the product reaching the length customer requires, the meter counter will alarm automatically. And then change the roll, weigh, pack and enter into warehouse.

EPE Extruder produces closed fine cell Polyethylene foam sheet by our unique designed Screw and Barrel system using Butane, Talc master batch and Anti-shrinking agent (GMS for short, Surface Active Agent) by accumulated experience and advanced technology.

Feature & applications:

1. PE foam and related products are made from PE resin and it is expanded and formed into shapes by being heated and extruded. And it is easy to be decompounded and environment friendly.

2. Its key function is cushion protecting and warmth reserving.

3. Nowadays it is the most popularly used for modern batch production products, especially export packaging industry, including electronic industry (such as PC computer, laptop, electronic chips and parts, inverter, TV, air conditioner, refrigerator), furniture, glassware, garments, metal parts, etc.

4. Whoever aims at modern packaging and export, he has to use PE foam for the following reasons: Packaging with air bubble film, EPS and plastic film is forbidden in many countries. Paper packaging is so expensive.

5. PE foam products have quite a few varieties: Sheets for direct wrapping and to make bags; PE sheet may be coated with plastic film, craft paper and aluminum foil. It may be laminated (by electricity or LPG flame) into thick blocks. Then cut them to make different containers or frames. PE fruit net is direct for fruit and small matter's wrapping. If you add special molds, you may make different profiles for door hinges and furniture packing.

3. Unique gearbox with water cooling by a specialized giant gearbox supplier to ensure the performance stable even if continuously working for a few days, the cover still don’t become hot.

4. Unique apply screw tandem to ensure good heating, easy operation and easy maintenance. The extruded sheets are of very equal waves or very smooth sheets. Both the screw and cylinder are made of 38CrMoALA steel and nitride. Cooling: cylinder controlled circulation water for cooling with a standby manual water supply system.

5. Independent heating zones with solid relay and PID for temperature control, so the temperatures are well controlled. The actual temperature error is really within +/- 1 degree.
